The best gift I can think of the baptism of the child, is a gold medal of the Immaculate Conception of the accession of the baptism of the child's clothing. Make a small donation to starving children in Africa or in a local food bank, hospital or a children's and ask for a receipt with the name of the child and put him in a christening card in most Christian bookstores.
