Texas Home Inspection Can Real Estate Agents Be Held Liable For Not Letting The Home Owner Be Aware Of A Water Leak?

Can real estate agents be held liable for not letting the home owner be aware of a water leak? - texas home inspection

We sell our house and the buyer had an inspection during your vacation. While we were gone, our air-conditioning pan started to leak. Both the purchase and sale of real estate agents (Texas) is conscious. When we returned, I noticed water on the floor, but I have never said they knew a few days ago. Should not have to say? I'm lucky that I learned that before the occurrence of damage to the road nearby cliff. You have a responsibility to report the damage at my immediate concern (water, fire, theft, etc. ..)

Not officials -. They have no legal responsibility to maintain or monitor your home while you are away.

That is, you believe that someone like this representing your interests in real estate? I want to make their purchase contract.

Morally, yes, they are responsible. But legally speaking, I can not take responsibility. You really need to make an inspection and you know that you made a good investment and if there is any water damage DRYROT structural or otherwise. I have been in real estate, shady mortgage business for years and I have seen many things. There are many good riders there, will look after you and you want the best, but certainly there are others who are counting the days until it was closed so they can check their collecting commissions. It is best to get a home inspector and not a reference to the broker! You never know who is in league with the WHO. Find a person, regardless of the operation, since it is a fair say in the matter, and ensure their interests. When you connect most of the contracts, in conjunction, since they are all more or less randomly on the area to be inspected in the plant.

and hard, I mean when you say, they knew, but then I'll let you know who to blame. But I think if it made a decision influenced by the other parties, then you should not worry. especially if your only an air leak. I mean, if the buyer decides not the house, because they buy, you can know the problem, then I think that the housing agency will take care of, dass
